Dravidian University conducts an admission method for admission to its various PhD. Programmes. Dravidian University was formed through Andhra Pradesh Government along with the cooperation of Government of other Southern states which include Tamil Nadu, Kerala & Karnataka. The primary objective of the this University was to unite the major Dravidian languages speaking population in the south from different states.

Dravidian University was established in 1997 through an act of legislature & has been granted permission by UGC to conduct several Undergraduate, Postgraduate & Research Programmes.

For admission to PhD/M.Phil programmes of Dravidian university candidates must apply through an application form. Candidates are selected in these programmes through an entrance check & interview conducted at the university. Attendance is compulsory for students.

Eligibility :
Candidates should have a Master of Arts (M.A.) in the respective language with a minimum aggregate of 55%.
For Education candidate should have done Master of Arts (M.A.) as well as M.Ed with atleast 55% aggregate in both the qualifications.
